Goose

A goose (plural geese) is a bird of any of a few waterfowl animal groups in the family Anatidae. This gathering contains the genera Anser (the dark geese and white geese) and Branta (the dark geese). Some different birds, generally identified with the shelducks, have "goose" as a component of their names. All the more remotely related individuals from the family Anatidae are swans, the greater part of which are bigger than genuine geese, and ducks, which are more modest.

The expression "goose" may allude to either a male or female bird, yet when combined with "gander", alludes explicitly to a female one (the last alluding to a male). Youthful birds prior to fledging are called goslings. The aggregate thing for a gathering of geese on the ground is a gaggle; when in flight, they are known as a skein, a group, or a wedge; when flying near one another, they are known as a stout.
